Co-founder (s) of KAKUMA READ COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION are Daud Warsame & Zamzam Abdikadir Jama who without their commitment, stamina, leadership & belief the organization wouldn’t have been sustained, registered & fit for achieving much needed advocacy & change necessary for community development, self-reliance & peace.

Board of Directors

Board of Director (s) is the topmost organ of the organization. It is led by one of the co-founders(s) & made of a total of 7 members.

Executive Committee Management

● It is in charge of implementation of most of the programs & provides leadership required on day-to-day business of the organization.

● The body has the legal mandate in representing the organization in all matters related to the organization such as financial, partnership, implementation & documentation. .

Members

Official members of the organization fully recognized through annual meetings or confirmed by Executive Committee Management with necessary compliance documentation.

Volunteers

These represent a pool of individuals who are associated with our organization either as a beneficiary or a volunteer & have participated or supported one or more of our programs both at our office & in the community.

They are either in the process of transiting to become a member or they are in the process of completing the necessary documentation required for compliance.

These are also individuals whose services are temporary.

Ambassadors

● These are individuals recognized by the organization for their relentless interest in volunteering & community services.

● The organization recognizes it independently.

● They are not volunteer (s) or members of the organization .
